La Galerie Nationale to Present Five Famous Artists

Art expert Guillaume Cuiry, owner of La Galerie Nationale, is pleased to present the works of five contemporary artists during Art Dubai, which runs from March 16-19, 2016.

Art aficionados are welcome to the opening night of the exhibition at La Galerie Nationale which will be held on March 14, from 6pm to 9pm during Alserkal Avenue Galleries Night.

The five artists are Lebanese artist and painter Katya Traboulsi, Belgian sculptor Arnaud Rivieren, and French artists Philippe Pasqua, Fred Kleinberg and Pierre Marie Lejeune. The exhibition of these prominent artists at the gallery is open to visitors from March 15, 2016 and lasts up to May 14, 2016.

Born in 1965 Grasse, France, Philippe Pasqua began painting at the age of 18, and explores various techniques in his work, primarily painting, drawing and more recently, sculpture. Pasqua’s work strikes the visitor with an almost physical impact, but also like a vision that is at the same time explosive and incisive. The monumental format of the artist’s grand drawings and canvases is dictated by the breadth of his gestures — a dance where brutality and finesse, trance and lucidity alternate.
